Nestled in the lush forest of Blekinge, the Mörrum River is a paradise for any fisherman. Fish for salmon and sea trout in the river, hunt for giant pike in the nearby archipelago or cast a small dry fly to the selective trout in the small streams in the area.
The Mörrum River in Sweden is best known as a world-class river for fishing large salmon and sea trout. The size of the salmon and sea trout is amazing, the river is one of the few places where you have a good chance in hooking a 40 Ibs + salmon and a 25 Ibs + sea trout.

Karlshamn Golf Club’s ourse was designed by Scotsman Douglas Brasier, who has designed many other golf courses in Sweden.

The course is nicely embedded in the lush and green forests in the Mörrum River valley. When you arrive at the 15th hole you will see the beauty of the Mörrum River. Each hole is a unique experience and gets often high praise for the layout. The old course offers a challenge for the talented golfer but is a little more generous for those who choose to play from yellow or red tee.

Karlshamn GK’s old track is a classic that you absolutely must play. The new gold course was built in two stages, the first stage was completed in 1992 and the last nine holes opened in 2004. It is a little narrower than the old one, and thus becomes a real challenge for those who want to take a chance and find shortcuts. From hole No. 13 you will have an awesome view of the forthcoming holes and in good weather you can see all the way to Ryssmountain.

The new course has become very popular largely because of its tight fairways and gorgeous greens. The new track is also open for Pay & Play, holes 1-9.

20 minutes from the Hotel you will find Sölvesborgs Golf Club, located by the sea, just a 1 km from the city of Sölvesborg. The golf course has been named as ” A hidden gem” and a is a mini version of world famous Barsebäcks Golf Club. Sölvesborgs Golf Club was awarded as one of the finest golf courses in Sweden in 2014.
The track is known to be relatively easy to play – mainly as a result of that “you will always find the ball” even though fairways are lined with pine trees on several holes. The course is usually with summer greens most of the year.

Olofström’s Golf Club offers a wonderful golfing experience in the beautiful countryside of Blekinge, the Garden of Sweden. Boa is an interesting and challenging parkland course, built with care in a natural mountainous and scenic landscape. The gold course has good access all year round and is located at Boa Nygård, just 15 minutes from the Mörrum River Hotel.
